With a background in mechanical engineering, I founded Marks Survey Solutions to bridge the gap between traditional surveying and cutting-edge drone technology. My technical background ensures that every roof survey and condition report is not just a collection of images, but a highly accurate insight for property professionals and homeowners who demand excellence. By using state-of-the art, non-invasive drone technology, with it's high-resolution imagery, it is possible to bypass the traditional expensive and time-consuming access restraints, such as scaffolding, to give a cost effective condition reports on residential or commercial roof structures and guttering. This will enable you to pass the report on to a local roofing company for a validated quotation that avoids the guesswork.
Alongside a career as a professional engineer, I have been involved in media and photography for almost the same length of time. I always have an eye for the 'perfect shot' and aim to get the best images possible.

All flights are covered by commercial drone insurance with public liability up to £1m.
Pilot validated CAA operator ID and Flyer ID.
All article 16 drone flight rules will be followed.
Risk assessments will be completed before each flight for safe operation.
Cinematic 4K videos will be edited using Davinci Resolve software and will be post-processed and colour graded where required.
Photography will be edited with Adobe Lightroom to suit requirements of use.
All outputs will meet the brief set together during the initial consultation, and any media will be shared easily and quickly via the cloud.
Twenty years as a professional engineer means all reports generated will be highly detailed and set out in an easy to understand format. These reports will be provided along with access to the full sized photos/videos.
